INGREDIENTS: 90g butter, chopped 1/2 cup caster sugar 1 egg 1/3 cup self-raising flour, sifted 2/3 cup plain flour, sifted 400g can pears in natural juice, drained, roughly chopped 3/4 cup pecan nuts, chopped 300g carton sour cream 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a 3cm-deep, 17cm x 28cm (base) slab pan and line with baking paper (see note). Place butter, sugar, egg and flours in a food processor. Process until a dough forms. Press into pan. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until light golden. Cool for 10 minutes in pan. Combine pears, pecans and sour cream in a bowl. Spread mixture over warm base. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake for 15 minutes or until topping is set. Cool completely in pan. Cut into pieces. Serve.
